Serbia continue season

Local powerhouses Red Star and Partizan will clash in Serbian Rugby League Cup Semi Finals, after both teams stormed to big victories as season restarted in Serbia. In first competitive weekend after 77 days COVID-19 pandemic, eternal rivals joined earlier qualified Radnicki Nis in Cup final four, as did Dorcol Tigers with a narrow win against city rivals Radnicki Novi Beograd.

All the games were played at one venue SC Inge in Belgrade and with closed stands, making sure that SRL follows Serbian government instructions. Partizan kicked-off competition on Saturday convincingly defeating Beogradski ORK 76-0 (24-0 half).

SRL development squad was just a nice sparring partner for black and whites as was Car Dusan Silni day later for Red Star. Cup holders dismantled visitors from Paracin 94-0 (40-0 half) setting up another big derby in next weekend Semis.
Partizan will have a chance to avenge Super Cup loss against its biggest rival earlier this year 32-28. They will be also aiming to break local and regional three year Red Star undefeated run.

Most exciting match of the weekend as a Belgrade city derby between Dorcol Tigers and Radnicki. After second half turnaround, Tigers will be heading next weekend to Nis to take another, local Radnicki.
