The 5 season of the Balkan Super League is underway. League matches are currently being played for placement in the knockout phase, which starts in September. In this first, preliminary phase, 5 clubs from 3 countries, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Serbia, are participating. The first 2 clubs are going into the knockout phase. After half of the games played, it is clear that three clubs will fight for two places Radnički New Belgrade (Serbia), Locomotive Sofia (Bulgaria) and South Region Bar /Tivat (Montenegro). The Montenegrin representative defeated Morava Cheetahs 54-26 in Tivat on Saturday. The situation will be much clearer, after the next match that will be played on July 17 in Sofia between the home team Lokomotiva and the Southern Region.
