Serbian rivals Red Star and Partizan 1953 met today in a decisive match at the Lugovi Stadium, in the Montenegrin city of Budva, in the fifth Grand final of the Balkan Super League. The Red Star defeated Partizan 30-18 (16-10), after a reversal. In just 12 minutes, they annulled the advantage of the black and whites by 10-0 and reached a lead of 16-10. With this victory, the red and whites reached the third title of the best club in the Balkans, and in the best way they took revenge on their eternal rival for last week’s defeat in the Serbian Super Cup. For the first time, this clash was broadcast live by the regional sports station TV Arena Sport.

Partizan was the first to take the lead with an try scored by Enis Bibic in the 8th minute. 9 minutes later, the advantage of the Partisans increased to 10-0, after the try by Manojlovic and the goal by Aleksandar Pavlovic. The key moment happened in the 27th minute when Aleksandar Pavlovic was sent off for 10 minutes due to the dangerous tackle of Milos Zogovic. The Red Star used the advantage of the players more in the best way and from 0-10 they reached the advantage of 16-10.
